Branch Manager NGO – HARD GROUP job circular

Requirements
Education
Masters

Experience
At least 4 years

The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
NGO, Hospital, Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Research Organization, Fisheries, Hatchery

Additional Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role in an NGO or similar sector.

Experience in managing projects, budgets, and teams.

Experience in community development, humanitarian work, or program management

Responsibilities & Context
Program Implementation Oversee the successful delivery of programs and projects in the branch region.
Ensure that program activities are in line with the organization’s mission and objectives.
Work closely with the program staff to monitor and evaluate the progress and outcomes of ongoing projects.
Collaborate with regional or national teams to develop new programs that address the needs of the community.
Operations Management Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch office, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
Develop and manage the office budget, ensuring financial resources are used responsibly.
Ensure adherence to all organizational policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
Handle procurement of supplies, equipment, and services as required for the operation of the branch.
Staff Management Supervise and provide leadership to branch staff, including program coordinators, volunteers, and administrative personnel.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities for staff.
Ensure staff have the resources and training they need to perform their duties effectively.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging team cohesion and productivity.
Financial Management Ensure that financial resources are managed in accordance with the branch’s budget and the overall financial strategy of the NGO.
Assist with financial reporting, audits, and compliance with local regulations.
Track spending and ensure that costs are within the approved budget.
Stakeholder Relations Develop and maintain relationships with key local stakeholders, including government agencies, community leaders, donors, and other NGO partners.
Represent the organization in community meetings, workshops, and events to promote the NGO’s work and build community support. Respond to inquiries, concerns, and feedback from stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
Monitoring, Reporting, and Evaluation Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the programs at the branch level.
Provide regular reports on program progress, financial status, and any issues or challenges to the senior management team. Ensure that all necessary data for reporting and evaluation is collected and documented in a timely manner.
Safety and Security Ensure the safety and well-being of staff and beneficiaries in the branch office’s region.
Implement and enforce security protocols, particularly in areas that may pose risks to personnel or operations.
